Gus Saper - Significant Cases
- Gus obtained a $850,000.00 jury verdict against a Dallas, Texas lawyer in 2008 for breach of fiduciary duty and theft and a $1,000,000.00 summary judgment against a co-defendant for theft.
- Five month long federal racketeering (R.I.C.O.) trial ends in hung jury. Defendant subsequently receives probation on reduced charges.
- In this case, styled One Hundred Seven Thousand Dollars ($107,000.00) U.S. Currency (Tagle) v. State ex rel. Harrison County Sheriff's Dept. By and Through Gulf Coast Multijurisdictional Task Force, 643 So.2d 917, 1994 WL 531252, Miss. the Supreme Court of Mississippi orders all money returned to owner.
- After six week trial in U.S. v. Johnson the defendant acquitted of conspiracy and firearms charges.
